The person behind the project
You are not hiring an agency here, you are hiring me. So it is only fair that you know who you are dealing with.
Twelve years of practice
I started learning to program at fourteen. Since then I have worked my way through a wide range of programming languages — and along the way built up a fundamental understanding of how computers actually work. That is what puts me in a position to develop solutions cut to fit, instead of bending a standard tool until it roughly does the job.
My experience goes well beyond writing software. I am one of the founding members of GrowVolution e.V., where I substantially shaped the statutes and internal regulations and built up the association's infrastructure. Structures, responsibilities, rules that have to hold up — that is a different kind of work than code, and it has made me better at both.
Especially now, in times of AI, that experience with complex systems pays off: I can work on digital and infrastructural solutions considerably faster and more efficiently, because I can tell a good result from a plausible-looking one.
And now the honest part
I have not completed a classical apprenticeship or a degree. Everything I can do comes from a lot of practical experience and a lot of iteration. There are areas and blind spots, and I am aware of them — I would rather say that openly than have you find out in the middle of a project.
What I set against that: I think in connections, I learn quickly and on my own, and I have a strong need to deliver work I can stand behind. Before I take on something new, I build enough understanding of the field first. That is how I close the remaining gaps, one after another.
So I genuinely look forward to every kind of project and every new experience that lastingly improves the quality of my work — and just as much to your feedback. And yes: with a suitable order situation I want to fund a degree out of my own pocket at some point. I am willing to keep learning, and every order supports that.
Portfolio
Real projects, real responsibility
No invented case studies — three running projects I actively look after, each with its own focus.
Autowelt WF
My very first client — and the proof that a good result does not need an expensive agency. I replaced the previous agency and have since handled ongoing SEO, the entire mail domain, and technical questions whenever they come up.
Restaurant Samos
A lean, fairly priced WordPress site with proper security hardening and its own contact form. Guest enquiries arrive reliably, and I take care of the everyday things — updating the menu, switching the site to holiday mode.
WebFluid — my own framework
This site runs on WebFluid too — the Python framework I developed entirely myself. Its homepage, documentation and the Ocean package registry are built on it as well and are in productive use. Developing and maintaining your own framework demands solid software architecture, sustainable thinking and a high bar for maintainability — and that is exactly the experience I bring to client projects.
The roots
Grown out of the GrowVolution idea
The name says it: GrowVolution stands for the conviction that change starts with yourself. This company grew out of that idea — with the ambition to make growth tangible for people and businesses.
GrowVolution Media operates entirely independently of the non-profit GrowVolution e.V. and draws no advantage from it. What connects the two is the shared vision — not the structure. On the contrary: as a company I am one of the association's main sponsors.
